In the morning our driver will pick you up from your hotel. It is a 3.5 hour drive to Halong Bay and offers views on villages and local life on the way. Our team will welcome you at our lounge and you board the beautiful Violet. A delicious lunch is served right after boarding and you find yourself getting acquainted with the facilities of the boat. The boat is already on its way into the Bay and your discovery can start. Enjoy this World Heri-tage Site during the first cruising hour before we arrive at our first stop.

By tender we set over to Tien Canh Son Island. A mysterious and beautiful place at once. We will visit a cave located on this island for about 15 minutes. After there is time to go for a swim on the beach nearby. The water is warm and to swim in Halong Bay is always a very exciting moment.

The voyage continues to the overnight location at Cong Do and as we cruies in the late afternoon sun you can sharpen your culinary skills at a cooking class offered by our Chef. He will share with you traditional recipes and to remember all steps of preparation you can practice by yourself. At this time – we call it the blue hour – Halong Bay reveals also its most magnificent beauty. Rewind on the sun deck with a drink of your choice and let the moment sink in.

Dinner is served in the restaurant or on the sun deck in a private atmosphere. After dinner the night is yours; kick back on a comfy pillowed chair or watch the stars from the sun deck and inhale the surreal beau-ty whilst sipping a glass of wine. If you feel like, come and join a presentation with more interesting facts and insights on Halong Bay held in our dining area.

Wake up at dawn to the sounds of the wave and the smell of freshly brewed coffee which is available with pastries in the dining room. Join our Tai Chi morning class on the sun deck which is fur sure a unique experience. Follow the moves of our instructor on the sun deck and merge with the surrounding scenery.
Breakfast is served as the boat sets sail for the Thay Cave. Our tour guide will bring you to visit the cave. Come back the ship and continue your sails to Vung Vieng fishing village. You can either go on a discovery with a small bamboo boat rowed by the local people or paddle by yourself in a kayak. This is a perfect way to to freely around and as close as possible to the floating houses and villagers. The waters are calm and it is safe and easy to go around with the kayak.
Back on board, our Chef will offer another cooking demonstration of a particular Vietnamese dishes. Feel free to join and we surely you can practice by yourself.
Tonight we serve a more leisurely barbecue dinner on the sun deck – mouth watering fresh fish and sea food, delicious sides and greens come along.

Wake up at dawn to the sounds of the wave and the smell of freshly brewed coffee which is available with pastries in the dining room.
There is a Tai Chi class available again this morning. Follow the moves of our instructor on the sun deck and merge with the surrounding scenery. The ship has to sail shortly back to the pier to obtain the 3rd night permission (unfortunately this is procedure has to be followed by the authorities). Take your time for spa, reading or playing some board games on the sun deck or your private balcony whilst lean back on the comfy sunchairs.
The ship sails for the Surprise Cave, in Vietnam this cave is called Sung Sot. Sung Sot is the biggest cave in Halong Bay with 10,000 square meters. It is a magnificent spot with most beautiful stalagmites and stalac-tites. The further you go inside the bigger it gets. After we arrive at Sung Sot we will disembark to explore this natural sensation for about 60 minutes.
After Luon Laguna we continue the journey to visit a floating pearl farm village. Halong Bay is also a place where pearls are cultivated. We learn how pearls are harvested and processed in a small factory. Back “home” you might like to refresh in your cabin or hit the gym for some expercises. It is as well the perfect timing for a Spa session before the sunset. Dinner is served in the restaurant or on the sun deck in a private atmosphere. Before you retire to your cabin you maybe would like to have some fun with squid fishing together with our crew or simply lean back on one of the loungers and listen to serentiy of Halong Bay.

For early risers (60.30 AM) tea, coffee and pastries are served in the restaurant area. Join our Tai Chi morning class which is a truly one-time experience. Follow the moves of our instructor on the sun deck and merge with the surrounding scenery. The boat continues to sail to Titop Island. We set over by tender to this small interesting landmass in the bay. Prepare yourself for a refreshing morning swim on a sandy beach beneath high rock formations.
If you prefer to be more active walk up to the hill top of Titop Island from where you have stunning views over Halong Bay (it is 400 stone steps up which takes about 20 minutes to the top, a minimal fitness and proper footwear is required). There is also a viewing platform about half-way up with great panoramic views.
Back on board (around 08:45 AM) you may like to shower and freshen up. Now it is time to enjoy the last sailing time back to the harbor. A full breakfast is served in the dining room. Relax on the sun deck or dine in the restaurant during savoring the last cruise moments back to shore.
It is time to say good-bye to this iconic site. Our crew farewells and helps with all your belongings. We hope you enjoyed Halong Bay and memorize cruising with us. Heritage Line and all the staff thank you very much for having you on board. Your car is ready to transfer you back to Hanoi.
